Post subject:  I like things from Ashita AND Windower!
Hey everyone

Now i have been using Ashita for quite some time and I do prefer it. My issue is there are some really great addons/plugins for Windower that I would like to run through Ashita but for the life of me can't seem to find a one size fits all way to run these addons in Ashita.

For example, Boxdestroyer. I did find something on GitHub that was designed for use on Ashita but it just bugs out everytime I try to open a chest.

Is there something out there that I am missing? Like a file I can stick in ashita that reads the addons folders from Windower? (Yes, I even resorted to dumping the addon folders into ashita and it worked for one session but didnt the next time I logged in).

I don't know much about programming - I just like to play - mostly using things I shouldn't to make my life a hell of a lot easier.

@Atomos - thanks so much for keeping clipper and warp etc going for so long.

One of the users of Ashita created a shim to load some Windower addons with Ashita. You can find that here:

BoxDestroyer is one of them. Far as I recall there is a python script that you need to run each update to the game for it to keep the message ids updated.
I'm not familiar with the addon though as I don't use it or play the game.

Thanks mate.

I did see this a while back but couldn't seem to get things going. When I download and unzip, I am placing the folders from the master folder into the addons folder then ingame I will load them with /addon load [addonnamehere] and it should work?

I get a whole string of errors saying "no file..../addons/libs/windower.dll" and other such things. I'll log back in now Im home and screenshot it so I can post here what the errors are. Going to make a contribution to your work again as I enjoy your work :)

Delete the file named windower and replace it with the folder named windower from the repo. It's supposed to be a symbolic link but they don't carry over well with Git.
